Panteres Grogues padel team

The group plays regularly on the following days:
– Monday, at 8:30 p.m.
– Tuesday, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
– Wednesday, at 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
– Friday, at 8:30 p.m.
– Sunday, at 11:30 a.m.

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, matches are organized by level. On Sundays, American-style padel is played. Depending on the volume of participation, matches may start 30 minutes earlier or later than established.

Each match at the club costs €10.50 (price 2024). There is also the possibility of becoming a member of the Up Club Cornella which, with the relevant monthly fee, allows all paddle matches, use of the center’s gym and swimming pool.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Among the objectives of our team is the practice of padel, but also to promote socialization between members and create ties with other LGTBIQ+ entities. That is why we also carry out the following activities:

– Summapadel
– Americanas with Padel Flinta
– Catalunya Padel Tour LGTBIQ+
– Participation in the Juegos de l’Orgullo (Madrid) and Maspalomas padel tennis tournament
– Christmas and summer dinner
– Rural house

HOW TO APPLY

IMPORTANT: Our team does not teach how to play padel or give private lessons, so a minimum level is required (i.e., knowing the rules of the sport and having a minimally fluent game) so that all members of the section can practice padel.
To enter the Panteres Grogues paddle tennis section, you must follow the following steps:
1) Send an email to padel@panteresgrogues.org asking to be added to the waiting list to take the level test.
2) Take the level test on the day called by the team coordination. There will be members of the coordination team to assess the technique.
3) If you have a sufficient level, you will need to become a member of Panteres Grogues to be able to be part of the team.
4) If it is assessed that the level is not sufficient, it will be recommended to take some private lessons outside the team so that you can take the level test again later.
5) To be part of the team you must be up to date with the payments:
– Panteres Grogues membership fee
– Padel team fee: €12 per year (price 2024)
All these fees are direct debited.
6) Each new addition, if they wish, is assigned a sponsor who will accompany them in the process of adapting to the section in the first months.
