Trainings
Throughout the year, we train at CEM Estació del Nord and Club de Tenis Vall d’Hebron, where there are outdoor courts with artificial sand and dressing rooms with showers.
On Mar Bella beach, we train on Saturdays during the winter season (October-April) and on weekdays during the summer season (May-July).
Format
Our training sessions last 1 hour and a half, carrying out different technical exercises, considering the level of each group and dedicating, usually at the end of the training, some time to play.
The training groups are divided into these levels:
- Initial: For new athletes. They learn basic techniques such as serving, receiving, and touching. Objective: Gain control and basic knowledge of the game.
- Initial +: With more experience, they improve in service and reception. Objective: to work on consistency and coordination in defense and attack.
- Intermediate –: They master fundamentals, but they need precision and tactics. Objective: to perfect positioning and attacking, improving tactical coordination.
- Intermediate: Good technical control, competitive athletes. Objective: Consistency in serves, receptions, and defensive and offensive tactics.
- Intermediate +: With advanced experience, great tactical control. Objective: to fine-tune techniques and tactics for more serious competitions.
- Advanced: Experienced athletes at a high level. Objective: to perfect technique and tactics to maintain a professional competitive level.
The training sessions at the North Station and Vall d’Hebron are made up of 8 people and those in Mar Bella are made up of 13.
Fees
1 training session per week: €35/month (*)
2 training sessions per week: €65/month (*)
3 training sessions per week: €90/month (*)
(*) Add to these fees the annual payment of the Panteres membership fee and the Panteres Grogues insurance (for beach trainings) or federation fees at the facilities. Access to the facilities also requires payment of a wristband. To incentivize the commitment to train for the entire season at the facilities, there will be an enrolment fee of €5*months until July, which is deducted from the monthly fee and is non-refundable if training is discontinued before the season ends in July.
How do we manage?
The Beach Volleyball section is managed by volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time and effort to organizing training, coordinating the coaching staff, communicating on social networks, buying equipment, organizing tournaments and social and activism activities.
We are all committed and selflessly dedicate our efforts in our spare time.
Join the section
You can become part of the beach volley section by joining the team of volunteers and collaborating on different tasks either on a one-off basis or as part of a stable team.
Fill out the registration form for becoming a member of the section so we can get to know each other and see how you can contribute your volunteer work. If there are available training spots, you will have priority in their assignment.
If you only want to train with us, please note that the groups are currently full.
Sign up on the registration form for the section, and we will contact you via a WhatsApp group when there are available spots or when we open registrations for the annual season (August) or for summer training (April).
In case of any cancellations, we will fill the spots in the order of arrival on the waiting list.
